Let them eat cake!
"I loved how the two actors played so well off of each other, bouncing their energy around the circular set. Their comic timing was amazing, and their voices were solid and strong. Although I don’t think it has any show stopping numbers, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. Such a positive and upbeat show !!"

Bravo for Broadway!
"The show was amazing and the actors are so talented. I would not recommend for children because of the language and the adult theme of the storyline. I was really impressed with how two actors could keep an audience entertained for over two hours. The acting and singing was outstanding. I laughed and cheered! My only complaint would be that there were times when it was difficult to hear the dialogue especially if they were not facing the audience. "

Comedy with Layers: Two Strangers Carry a Cake Across New York
"What an absolute delight! This show was laugh-out-loud funny from start to finish, with sharp writing and perfectly timed humor that kept the audience engaged throughout. The chemistry between the leads was electric—Sam Tutty and Christiani Pitts were nothing short of fantastic. Tutty brought a charming awkwardness that made his character instantly lovable, while Pitts delivered a vibrant, heartfelt performance that balanced comedy with genuine emotion. The pacing was spot-on, and the quirky premise unfolded in a way that felt fresh and unpredictable. It’s rare to find a production that combines humor, heart, and originality so seamlessly, but this one nails it. If you’re looking for a feel-good, hilarious night at the theater, Two Strangers Carry a Cake Across New York is a must-see!"

A Two-Person Phenomenon!
""Two Strangers" is a funny feel-good show that definitely pulls on your heart-strings! It does contain adult themes, the set design is amazing and creative, but minimal. I would leave the children at home for this one. The songs are powerful and moving, and many have quickly become earworms around our house! This show is fantastic and surprising, even though there are only 2 actors. I would definitely recommend it to a friend."

About Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York)

You’ll meet Dougal, an impossibly upbeat Brit who has just landed in New York City for the first time to attend the wedding of the father he’s never met. And you’ll meet Robin, the sister of the bride and a no-nonsense New Yorker with a lot of errands to do for the bride—including picking up the groom’s estranged son from the airport. These two strangers begin their journey together navigating New York City, secrets, and second chances.
