I was really impressed with how two actors could keep an audience entertained for over two hours. The acting and singing was outstanding. I laughed and cheered! ""Two Strangers" is a funny feel-good show that definitely pulls on your heart-strings! It does contain adult themes, the set design is amazing and creative, but minimal. I would leave the children at home for this one. The songs are powerful and moving, and many have quickly become earworms around our house! "I bought these tickets before the Tonys. After attending I was surprised that they didn't earn one of the 8 nominations they had.
The lead actress had fantastic moves and a great voice. The understudy actor performed and might have been the reason her laughter was so genuine. They were both great.
The band in full view was a nice feature.

A Creative Heartfelt Show
"A very touching show with two incredibly talented performers who give it their all. What voices! I actually didn't know what the show was about, only that the reviews were good. I had time to see one show on this visit so I went for it. I like musicals. Great singers just move me so and bring me in to their world. The "book" or storyline was a good one which brought two unlikely folks together. He is funny, playful and an adorable dreamer. She is tough and cynical, sassy, beautiful but "lost". Together they learn a lot about the world and their place in it. Great energy together.
The set is so clever. Loved the way the cases opened to be so many things for the actors. Well done. Congrats to all involved.
I will say the title isn't completely accurate but fun nonetheless. "

Great Quality - But Make Sure You're Well Rested
"We thought the acting and singing was great. However, you have to be well rested and not tired coming into the performance or you might doze off a little at the slower, more quieter paces of the scenes. Also, if you go to the balcony, the sound could be louder because the actors are not playing to the balcony and the sound is not as loud as on the floor."
