Becca Blackwell (they/them) is a New York City-based trans actor, performer and playwright. Upcoming: Noah Baumbach’s Wheat Germ. TV: Ramy, High Maintenance, Shameless. Their stage show, They, Themself and Schmerm, has been presented by a number of venues including The Public’s 2018 Under the Radar Festival, Abrons Arts Center and the Portland Institute for Contemporary Art’s Festival. Recipient of a Doris Duke Impact Artist (2015) and the 2020 Creative Capital Award. 2019 Class of Joe’s Pub Working Group.
