His substantial digital presence includes millions of followers across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Complementing his on-screen achievements, Bassett has established himself as a significant artist in contemporary music. His critically praised debut album The Golden Years (2024) seamlessly integrates confessional narrative with '80s-influenced pop sensibilities, solidifying his distinctive position within today's musical landscape. Joy is thrilled to return to the Flower Shop! Originally from Chicago, she made her professional debut as Chiffon in the original Little Shop off-Broadway cast, and later returned to the show as Audrey in 2022. Broadway credits include Gypsy (2025 Tony Award® nomination as Louise), The Notebook (Middle Allie), and Six the Musical (Catherine Parr). She recently starred in London’s 30th Anniversary Concert of Jason Robert Brown’s Songs For A New World. Other stage credits include performances at Classic Stage Company, New York City Center, and regional theatres across the US.

(she/her) Salome B. Smith is originally from Birmingham, AL. Salome studied theater at Alabama State University, where she received a BFA and also studied Musical Theater at The Boston Conservatory at Berklee, where she received her MFA. She was last seen in the Off-Broadway production of Little Shop of Horrors and is so excited to be making her Broadway debut in the revival of 1776!
