Heidi Blickenstaff has been with The Heart from the beginning of its development to its most recent stop at The La Jolla Playhouse last season. It's thrilling to finally be sharing this show with New York City audiences. On Broadway: Jagged Little Pill (Mary Jane), Something Rotten! (Bea/OBC) Grammy/Outer Critics noms, Addams Family (Alice), [title of show] (Heidi/OBC and creative collaborator) Obie Award, Little Mermaid (Ursula) and The Full Monty. Off Broadway: Now. Here. This. (Heidi/creative collaborator) Vineyard Theatre, and The Most Happy Fella (Cleo) Encores/City Center. Favorite regional: Come From Away (Beverly) The Muny, Next to Normal (Diana) The Weston Playhouse, Meet John Doe (Ann) Helen Hayes Award, Ford’s Theatre, First You Dream - The Music of Kander and Ebb (Signature Theater, Kennedy Center and PBS), and Freaky Friday (Katherine) La Jolla Playhouse, and subsequently on Disney Channel. Heidi is a graduate of Duke University.
