About Cabaret on Broadway

Everything you need to know about the show.

The Story

Willkommen. Bienvenue. Welcome to the Kit Kat Club. Home to the smash-hit production of Cabaret that Entertainment Weekly hails as “an unforgettable and jaw-dropping experience,” and New York Magazine declares “a glitzy, entertaining and ingenious revival that goes all out."

Through September 21, 2025, the incandescent Marisha Wallace stars as Sally Bowles on Broadway, and the role of Emcee will be shared by Marty Lauter and David Merino.

Experience this groundbreaking musical like never before. The denizens of the Kit Kat Club have created a decadent sanctuary inside Broadway’s August Wilson Theatre, where artists and performers, misfits and outsiders rule the night. Step inside their world. This is Berlin. Relax. Loosen up. Be yourself.

Unique, gut wrenching , talent galore experience!!!
"From the moment you entered the theatre you were brought back in time to the Kit Kat Club. The story is gut wrenching. The characters from Emcee to Sally to the dancers, each uniquely portrayed and wove together the story. Was brought to tears several times. It’s a must see!!! Every cast member so very talented, orchestra was incredible, choreography and staging so well done. I 100% would recommend this show. "

Loved it
"My daughter has been dying to see this and when we saw it was closing early made a trip to see it. It was her first time in New York City and first Broadway show. Everything was spectacular! "

Enjoyed a 5-star visit to the Kit Kat Club!
"Cabaret reminds you of the miracle that is the performing arts. Brilliant staging to convert the August Wilson Theatre into the Kit Kat Club. This is why they come from near and far to see to experience Broadway."

A wonderful staging in the round!
"The performances were incredible, and the venue was fully transformed into a cabaret - the pre-show was a lot of fun, as was the entr’acte - great crowd work and kept everyone going! A bit depressingly on-the-nose for our current times, but that’s what art does - it holds up a mirror and gives us things to think about. Highly recommended, and sad to see it’s closing early."

From Pre-Show Fun to Fabulous Performances
"I had such an amazing time seeing Cabaret! I took advantage of the two-for-one deal and went with a friend. Even though we couldn’t snag a table like we’d hoped, we still had a fabulous evening. One of my favorite parts was actually the pre-performance show, the band and actors mingled with the audience, creating such a fun, immersive atmosphere. We grabbed drinks from the bar and really got into the vibe. My only small gripe was the no-photos policy. My friend and I had dressed up and were excited to take some pictures, but the staff placed stickers over our cameras. That said, I can’t be too disappointed, now my water bottle has a cool new sticker as a souvenir!"

Emotional Impact to my Life as a Broadway Appreciator
"This was my first time ever seeing Cabaret, I had never seen the movie or listened to the album movie/broadway version. The show was extremely immersive with lots of audience participation. The storyline was clear, powerful and had excellent flow with no confusion. The dancing was extremely strong and it was impressive to see two leads not only be exceptional singers but also excellent dancers. The stand out for me was Ellen Harvey every song especially What Would You Do! Ellen made me tear up. I feel truly blessed from this experience and highly recommend everyone see it especially in such troubling times. The dehumanization in the gorilla scene was so horrible but powerful and hopefully never influential to all those watching Cabaret."
