Fantastic and not for everyone
"I really enjoyed the creative thriller aspect of it. Fabulous acting and production. Very difficult and powerful ending which I found aligned with the horror of the story. "

2,000 years and counting! Human beings do not change.
"This was a heartbreaking Greek tragedy brought seamlessly from 2,000 years ago into today's English speaking culture. The direction was spot on and the devastating tragedy resonates as it must have done thousands of years ago. The acting is perfection and takes us with the characters on their journey to the terrible truths of their existance and what has happened to them by circumstances so sadly beyond their control. "

An exceptional theater experience.
"Superb on every count: writing, directing, acting. Riveting production! We all know this story does not end well, but I was so engaged in the play, I totally forgot where things were headed. "

Very powerful
"This was a very powerful play done by wonderful British actors. Sometimes we forget that Broadway plays aren’t just musicals, there’s so much other stuff out there that’s even better! My partner has a hearing disability and he wished the actors voices were a little louder."

Fearless and fascinating
"This play and performance "read" and "see" you as much as you read or see it. That's due to the elegant and layered writing, the thoughtful and brave performances, and a production that leaves no detail unconsidered. In touching both the intellectual and the emotive, it's an experience that accomplishes what many productions aim for but so few achieve. The ideas one leaves with are as thought-provoking as they are felt--resonating far longer for both. Days later, you'll find yourself turning over a gesture, a line, a scene, finding more meaning and therefore more insight into those mysteries we need art to nudge closer into our reach. None of this is possible without the clear time and effort on the part of everyone involved to burrow into this work--that kind of hard labor is ironically what makes the play seem so profoundly natural, almost effortless. These folks have put in the work. And so the work--and we--are transformed. "

"Modern take of the Oedipus Rex play by Sophocles. In spite of knowing the general plot the presentation has you glued to your seat . Great theater."
