The Story

Two upper-class wives, their husbands away for the day, share a few toasts to their pre-marital dalliances—with the same man, who just may be en route from France to visit. Old rivalries and past scandals bubble to the surface in this intoxicating romp from one of theatre’s comedy masters.

Comedic masterpiece!
"What a well written expertly performed play! No surprise it was sold out for most of its short run. Absolutely hilarious!"

Quintessential Comedy
"I don’t know which is funnier…the wall crawl the morning after timed perfectly with thunder claps or the descent down the stairs while attempting the climb up the previous evening…delicious production!! "

Hysterical
"As an unmiked performance, it took a few minutes to acclimate to the dialogue, particularly with the British accents. But once there - OMG! This is a spoof that holds up well, with well-cast, fully realized characters. The drunken scene exceeded its advanced billing - who knew these Broadway divas were so good at physical comedy! We were thoroughly entertained."

Fallen Angels is delightful
"When you pair 2 extraordinary actresses with a Noel Coward script you simply can't go wrong. Kelli O'hara is one of Broadway's brightest stars and can absolutely do anything. Great voice, amazing dancer and as Fallen Angels proves a fabulous physical comedian. She can do it all! Rose Byrne coming off an Academy Award nomination and now a Tony nomination is having a fantastic year. The two women eat the script up and provide the audience with one of the best comedies I've seen in years. I highly recommend the show to anyone looking for a fabulous evening in the theater. I'm not sure children would "get it" but its not inappropriate for them. Don't miss this wonderful evening of theater!!"
