Magical!
"Having recently read the play in book form, I couldn't imagine how they could possibly create the many unique scene changes, however I continued to be amazed throughout the performance at how magically seamless they happened.
I think to truly grasp the storyline and characters, you would need to have read all of the books in the Harry Potter series. Reading the play ahead of time was helpful, but not necessary.

After appearing on the London stage in Oliver, Fame and Whistle Down the Wind, British-born actor Matthew James Thomas moved to New York to appear in the original Broadway cast of Spider-Man, Turn Off the Dark. In 2013, Thomas was tapped to play the title role in the first Broadway revival of Pippin. His film and TV credits include About a Boy, Billy Elliot and Britannia High.
