A Glowing Sondheim Tribute
"The songs of Stephen Sondheim really defined American musical theater in the second half of the 20th century. "Old Friends" beautifully stages 40 of these gems with a star-studded and vocally astute cast. Accompanied by an on-stage orchestra, the company's timing and choreography are captivating as they breeze through the upbeat numbers and gracefully linger over the more intimate reflections. "

Just in Time
"We were just in time to enjoy Old Friends with Bernadette Peters and Lea Solanga before it ends it run on Broadway. We felt we were enjoying multiple musicals in one afternoon. The scenery and costumes enriched the songs from Into the Woods, Sweeney Todd and many more. Being long time fans of both the Bernadette and Lea, we weren’t disappointed in their endless energy and talent. We do need to give kudos also to all the extremely talented actors and dancers who kept the show first rate!"

I have seen many Bway shows but none compare to this one.
"The talent on stage was amazing. Their portrayal of each of Sondheim’s songs brought back fond memories of his shows. The man was a brilliant talent! Not many shows get a 10 minute standing ovation at the end The set was also well done"

"The performers all seemed to be in such good spirits and did a wonderful job My one negative was that at times it was a little to loud and perhaps could be toned down a bit "

Perfect for Sondheim Fans
"I loved the numbers they selected and the amazing talent of the people who performed them. Though the originals I have heard were ones I thought could never be equaled, I was astonished to hear new interpretations that were just as compelling. Seeing the genuine love Bernadette Peters has for Sondheim was so touching."
