Amazing Experience

"We had an amazing experience at the theater! Upon arrival we were put in Syed very quickly. The concession stand staff was extremely friendly, easy to talk to, and seem genuinely interested in where we were from, and us having a great experience while we were there. Concession prices were considered reasonable to based on where we are. We are in the heart of New York City watching a Broadway show. I paid what I expected to pay. My seats were amazing. And all of the actors and actresses came out and signed autographs after the show. I do feel this with children, friendly, and, I plan on recommending this to family, friends, colleagues. "

A wonderful show

"This show is a must-see. It's incredible as it is full of magic (plenty of amazing moments for the eyes) and the actors are so great! I was really impressed by everything and loved it. However, some parts can be scary for children so I would recommend it maybe for the older ones. In addition, the air-conditioning power could be lowered a little for people not to freeze, especially after a heavy rain."

A Must-See for Any Potter Fan Visiting NYC

"We caught the Thursday 7 PM show with our two kids (8 and 11), both huge Harry Potter fans, and it did not disappoint. The stagecraft is genuinely the best I've seen on Broadway — without spoiling anything, there are transformations and effects happening right in front of you that left all four of us trying to figure out how they pulled it off. Even knowing it was theater, it felt like magic. At just under three hours with one intermission, it's a real commitment for kids, but ours stayed locked in — the story moves, and being familiar with the books/movies going in made a huge difference in following the plot. If your kids know the Wizarding World well, they'll be completely absorbed. The Lyric Theatre itself added to the experience — Butterbeer delivered right to our seats, and the lobby has Chocolate Frogs and Bertie Bott's for intermission. It's a short walk from the Times Square hotels, which made the whole evening easy logistically. One tip: use the bathroom before curtain and again early at intermission — lines get long fast with a full house. Highly recommend for any family of Potter fans visiting NYC"
