The winner of the Tony Award® for Best Musical is The Outsiders. This classic coming-of-age story takes you to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1967, where Ponyboy Curtis, his best friend Johnny Cade, and their family of Greaser “outsiders” dream about who they want to become in a world that will never accept them. The Outsiders features a “tuneful and soul-bearing” (New York Stage Review) original score, “high-octane choreography” (New York Magazine), and a “sensational young cast” (The Wall Street Journal) that brings the show to life.
There is a rain effect on stage. Drops of water and small rubber pieces from the stage floor may land in or near the first two rows of the Orchestra section (rows A and B).

From the performance to the stage setting, I could not say a bad word as it was so moving, it brought me to tears. Outstanding in every way and highly recommend!!!"

Absolutely amazing
"The performers, the effects, the sets, the lighting, the detail, and the music that went into this performance remind you why Broadway is Broadway. This is the best of the best and deserves every accolade that they receive. One of the very best performances that we have ever seen. Stayed true to the story and brought uniqueness both at the same time. GO SEE IT!"

Saw the play two days ago, can't stop thinking about it!
"The Outsiders is not to be missed! The musical numbers and the choreography (amazing fight scene) were spectacular. This, combined with a great stage setup made for a wonderful theater experience. Also, after reading the Playbill, I was shocked to discover that this was the theatrical debut for many in the cast!"
